With a 19.25" top tube and 165mm cranks, the Saiko delivers quick response without the stretched feel of a full-size 20". Keep the chain clean and lightly lubricated, and check brake alignment regularly. Sealed bearings in the headset and bottom bracket reduce maintenance, but bolts and spokes should still be checked often, especially as skills progress and riding gets harder.
